The Glens U19 MLS Next Academy boys enjoyed an unforgettable experience yesterday, taking the pitch in Santa Clara to play in the World Cup Stadium Validation Match.
Selected by FIFA for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, the team served as a live test of stadium operations, broadcast systems, and matchday technologies ahead of the tournament. Players, parents, and club staff went behind the scenes of the game we love, getting a firsthand look at everything that goes into preparing a World Cup venue.
With the tournament officially kicking off today and the soccer world descending on the Bay Area, the Glens were thrilled to be part of the action in this incredible summer of soccer.
