At SF Glens, we're not just building a soccer facility—we're creating a community space that will benefit generations to come. Our mission is to provide local players of all ages, genders, socioeconomic backgrounds, and ethnicities the chance to compete at the highest levels their passion and perseverance will take them. Beyond soccer, we promote healthy lifestyles and work to develop future leaders who are dedicated to giving back.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, our responsibility is to serve others, and our purpose-driven impact goes beyond wins and losses—it's about uplifting and empowering our entire community.
Events We've Hosted
Treasure Island has quickly become a home for competitive soccer in the Bay Area. We've hosted two full seasons of USL League Two and WPSL play, bringing high-level pre-professional men's and women's soccer to San Francisco. We also hosted the College Series Cup, welcoming Stanford, USF, Saint Mary's, and UC Berkeley soccer programs to Treasure Island for a showcase of top Bay Area collegiate talent.
Our own youth academy has called Treasure Island home as well, with multiple Glens Youth Academy seasons—including our MLS NEXT Girls Academy—training and competing on the field we built for them. These events are a glimpse of what this facility can mean for the local soccer community—and there's much more to come as we continue to build it out.
Progress
Thanks to your support, the clubhouse and locker rooms at Treasure Island are complete. Our players now have a dedicated space to prepare, bond, and focus before and after every match and training session—a milestone that wouldn't have been possible without our donors and partners.
This progress builds on the foundational work already in place: the turf has been laid for both the main pitch and the additional practice fields, goals are assembled, and play is officially underway. However, there are still a few key areas that need attention to fully bring our vision for Treasure Island to life.
Key Areas of Need
Flood Lights — Bring night games to Treasure Island by funding the installation of flood lights at our new facility. With your support, we can keep the action going after sunset, expanding training hours and creating more opportunities for players and fans alike. This is our top priority right now, and your gift will move us closer to lighting up the field.
Grandstand / Bleachers — Your donations will directly fund the construction of a brand new grandstand at the SF Glens' Treasure Island field. This structure will serve as a gathering place for our families, friends and supporters, providing comfortable seating, improved accessibility, and an enhanced game-day experience for everyone.
Education Center — We believe education is key to personal and athletic development. That's why our Treasure Island facility will feature a dedicated education room where players can focus on learning between training sessions or before and after matches. Help us create a space where our athletes can grow both on and off the field.
Bathrooms — A great game day experience starts with the basics. We're raising funds to install modern, clean restrooms at our facility to ensure comfort for our players, families, and fans. Donate today to help make this essential upgrade possible!
