WHY DONATE TO THE SF GLENS?
1. Our on-field programs. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the Glens offer the most comprehensive soccer programs in San Francisco—Micro, Recreational, and Competitive. Thanks to grants, sponsorships, and generous donors like you, we make these opportunities possible while covering the rising cost of securing enough fields for every player. In recent years, dozens of players have moved through our Glens Pathway to compete at the collegiate level or earn professional contracts.
2. Everything we do off the field. Building complete players and people is our mission. Beyond training, we offer community service through our Glens 4 Good Foundation—including backpack and voter registration drives—along with college visits, college ID camps, academic support, and STEM-based video analytics courses with fellow nonprofit TEAM INC.
3. Our Scholarship Fund. Our diversity is our strength. We have players and coaches from nearly every zip code in San Francisco and from all walks of life—and we have never turned a family away due to financial hardship. Our Kevin Maguire Scholarship Fund has helped players become the first in their families to attend college. We recently awarded over $300,000 in financial aid in a single year.
4. Our coaches' development. Great players start with great leadership. We invest in our coaches by covering the tuition for their USSF licensing courses, sharpening their craft across every level of the club, from Micro to our highest competitive teams.
