Glens Close Out USL League Two Season

The San Francisco Glens have wrapped up their USL League Two campaign, capping a season defined by resilience, standout individual performances, and a strong showing from the club's academy pipeline.
The Glens leaned heavily on Academy talent throughout the summer, with numerous academy products featuring across the first team — a reflection of the depth and strength of the club's development program.
San Francisco opened the season with a road victory at San Juan on May 13. The momentum carried into a May 27 home win over Davis, where Becket Empson-Speiden opened the scoring, Patrick Zamora anchored the midfield with the leadership that elevated the side all season, Kian Jones evaded two Davis defenders in a standout display, and Charlie Votel battled physically for possession.
June brought further results. Charles Gonsolin scored a match-winner at Davis Legacy on June 3, and Junhwan Park featured in the SF Derby at Cox Stadium on June 7. Allan Juarez tested the keeper in a June 14 draw at Project 51O. On June 17 at Treasure Island, Empson-Speiden — the team's leading scorer — netted a winner against Academica, celebrated alongside head coach Alberto Millan, with Nate Chandler impressing in midfield.
The Glens continued to build through July. Florentino Junior led the side against Almaden on July 7, while Lawson Mettee marked his first USL2 goal with a header against Marin on July 5.
In the home finale, Christian Trelles brought academy-honed grit to the pitch, Sam Long distributed confidently from the back, and goalkeeper Ben Oetman produced key saves while providing steady leadership throughout the year.
The club thanked its players for their determination across the USL League Two campaign and the Glens family for its continued support.
