Girls Academy
The SF Glens are proud to partner with Girls Academy, the premier youth development platform for female soccer players in the U.S. The Glens have been awarded the Full Pathway in the GA, fielding teams across all age groups from U13 through U19—another step in our commitment to helping athletes develop, compete, and thrive on and off the field.

Why Girls Academy?
The San Francisco Glens have joined Girls Academy, the nation's top youth development platform for female players, fielding a full slate of teams from U13 through U19.
Since its inception, Girls Academy has been the leading platform for young women aspiring to play at the collegiate and professional levels. The league has produced standout players including Kimmi Asciano (San Diego Wave FC), Ally Sentnor (No. 1 pick in the 2024 NWSL Draft), Natalia Staude (North Carolina Courage), and Brecken Mozingo (Utah Royals FC). With the Glens now part of the league, local players gain even greater exposure to college scouts, U.S. Youth National Team programs, and professional clubs.
The league's impact continues to grow: more than 1,200 GA players committed to college programs in just the platform's first three years. In one recent year alone, GA players from 91 clubs committed to 378 different schools, with nearly 59% going to NCAA Division I colleges.

A Dedicated Home for Player Development
What sets the Glens apart is our exclusive training facility on Treasure Island. As the only youth club in San Francisco with a permanent home for player development, this FIFA-certified facility provides year-round access to high-quality fields, professional coaching, and club-hosted events—ensuring a structured, high-performance environment for every player.
Our home also sits directly across from Bay FC's new Performance Center—the first professional women's sports training facility in the Bay Area, opening ahead of the 2027 season. For our Girls Academy players, that means developing every day alongside a professional women's club, immersed in an environment where the path to the pro game is visible, tangible, and closer than ever. It's a powerful daily reminder of what's possible—and of the future being built right here in San Francisco.
